The application deadline for the 2026-27 school year is December 19, 2025. Admissions decisions are made by a committee of faculty and staff members. Students submitting complete applications by December 19 will be notified of decisions by February 6, 2026. Applications received after December 19 will be evaluated in a timely manner as space remains available in each grade level.
HIGH SCHOOL | 9th - 12th GRADE

Schedule a Shadow Day
All High School Applicants are required to complete a Shadow Day as a part of their admissions process. Students will spend a full school day in their current or rising grade level. To schedule your student for a Shadow Day, please email admissions@francisparkerlouisville.org.

- Create an Online Account – Create an Account in our FACTS Family Portal. After creating your account, you will receive an email from FACTS containing a verification link. Click the link to confirm your email address.
- Complete the Student Information Form – Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and click Create a New Student Application. A non-refundable fee of $100 must be submitted with each application. Our Priority Deadline is December 19, 2025. Applications completed by this date will receive an admissions decision on February 6, 2026. - Submit Two Teacher Recommendations – Two Teacher Recommendations are required for applicants entering 9th – 12th grade, ideally from core subject teachers. The applicant’s family must provide the teacher’s name and email address in their application. The recommendation form is then emailed directly to the teacher and collected online by Francis Parker.
- Provide School Records and Test Scores – All applicants entering 9th – 12th grade are required to provide progress reports/transcripts for at least the previous two years and standardized testing for the current and previous school years. All required materials can either be added to your online application in the Document Upload section or they may be submitted directly to the Office of Admissions. Francis Parker may also submit a records request to the school on your student’s behalf.
- Complete Application Supplement – Applicants entering 9th – 12th grade should submit a handwritten Francis Parker Application Supplement Form after they have shadowed at Francis Parker. The completed Application Supplement can either be added to your online application in the Document Upload section or submitted directly to the Office of Admissions.

All required materials can either be added to your online application in the Document Upload section or they may be submitted directly to the Office of Admissions. Francis Parker may also submit a records request to the school on your student’s behalf.

Applicants entering the Preschool are required to participate in a classroom visit in the Preschool. Parents/guardians are asked to remain on campus during their child’s visit. To schedule your student’s Preschool visit, please email admissions@francisparkerlouisville.org.

- Complete the Preschool Parent Questionnaire – Help us get to know your student and family by completing the Preschool Parent Questionnaire. Families can email the completed questionnaire to admissions@francisparkerlouisville.org or upload it to your application. The questionnaire takes less than 15 minutes.
Get Your Questions Answered
Is there a wait pool available if there are no additional openings available in my student’s grade level?
Yes, students placed in our wait pool will be notified if a spot becomes available in their grade level. The Admissions Office will monitor the wait pool and open seats until the first day of school in August. The wait pool is not ranked; rather, if spaces do become available, the Admissions Committee will meet and decide to whom those spaces will be offered. Only a few, if any, students in the wait pool are offered a spot for the upcoming year. Students in our wait pool that are not offered a spot by the beginning of the school year should contact the Admissions Office in the fall if interested in being considered again for enrollment for the following year.
Does my student need to complete an admissions assessment?
While Francis Parker does not require formal admissions testing for admission, our Admissions Committee will consider recent standardized testing as well as feedback from the applicant’s visit to the classroom.
Students entering Preschool – 12th grade must participate in a classroom visit or shadow day as a part of their admissions process. Students entering 2nd – 12th grade are required to complete a Shadow Day as a part of their admissions process. Students will spend a full school day in their current or rising grade level, and also complete an informal assessment (2nd – 5th) or complete an admissions interview (6th – 12th). Applicants entering JK – 1st grade are required to participate in an upcoming Classroom Try-On. Applicants entering the Preschool 3s or 4s will participate in a classroom visit with the Preschool Director. All visits, including campus tours should be scheduled with the Office of Admissions.
Is there a school bus my student can ride?
Yes. There are buses available for JK – 8th grade students for an additional fee. Francis Parker endeavors to provide bus transportation to multiple areas of the community.

Besides touring, what other ways can my family visit Francis Parker?
Our Admissions Office offers several options for prospective families to visit one of our campuses. Francis Parker offers See Us in Action Previews throughout the school year that are always held in the morning on a school day. Our engaging and interactive Admissions Open Houses are also a highly recommended way for the entire family to explore our programs and are held each fall.
