The African savanna comes to life on the Francis Parker Theater Arts stage with Simba, Rafiki, and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle … and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

Performed by our 3rd and 4th graders, The Lion King KIDS tells the story of the epic adventures of a curious cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king. Along the way, the young lion encounters a colorful cast of characters, including spunky lioness Nala, charismatic meerkat Timon, and lovable warthog Pumbaa. To claim his rightful place on the throne and save his beloved Pridelands, Simba must find his inner strength and confront his wicked Uncle Scar. The Lion King KIDS features classic songs from the 1994 film such as “Hakuna Matata” and the Academy Award®-winning “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” as well as additional songs penned for the Broadway production.

Performances are Sunday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. (SOLD OUT) and Tuesday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. on the Goshen Campus. Tickets are $5.00 each for friends and family and are free for all Francis Parker students (PS – 12th grade). Tickets can be purchased in advance here. Tickets can be purchased for $5.00 at the door; however, we cannot guarantee that seats will still be available.
