Francis Parker Theater Arts presents the Middle School fall play, Neil Simon’s Fools

Leon Tolchinsky is ecstatic. He landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Eastern European hamlet in the 1890s. However, when he arrives, he finds people using brooms upside down and milking invisible cows. The town has been cursed with chronic ignorance for 200 years and Leon’s job is to break the curse. No one tells him that if he stays over 24 hours and fails to break the curse, he too becomes a victim! Complications ensue when Leon falls in love with a girl so backwards, she has only recently learned how to sit down. Join us on a hilarious journey as Leon attempts to break the curse by educating and enlightening the villagers in this lighthearted comedy!
