Thoughtful Series – Voice Lessons for Parents and Caregivers: What to Say, When to Say It, and How to Listen

Interested in learning specific skills and strategies to use with children of diverse temperaments? Join us on Wednesday, October 18 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in the Goshen Campus Library for our next Thoughtful Series - Voice Lessons for Parents and Caregivers: What to Say, When to Say It, and How to Listen. We will watch and discuss Dr. Wendy Mogel's ISACS parenting presentation, Voice Lessons for Parents. Based on her book, Voice Lessons for Parents, Mogel shares her clinical approach to working with children, revealing how each age and stage of a child’s life brings new opportunities to connect through language. Mogel offers specific guidance for talking to children across the expanse of childhood into adolescence. The presentation will be geared toward parents of Preschool and Lower School students, but anyone is welcome to attend! We encourage you to join us at 8:45 a.m. for coffee and casual conversation.
