Francis Parker Theater Arts Presents “Finding Nemo KIDS”

Francis Parker School of Louisville - Goshen Campus 11000 U.S. Highway 42, Goshen, KY, United States

Francis Parker Theater Arts is proud to present the 3rd/4th grade play, Disney's Finding Nemo KIDS. Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. Performances are Sunday, February 4 at 2:00 p.m. (sold out!) and 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goshen Campus Theater (11000 U.S. Highway 42, Goshen, KY 40026). All Francis Parker students (Preschool – 12th grade) and faculty/staff receive a complimentary show ticket. General Admission tickets are $5 and can be purchased online or at the door. As part of our health education program and ongoing commitment to prevention and wellness, we have invited a Prevention Education Specialist from Prevention Education to join our community the week of February 5. Please RSVP to TuNice Cole or Julie Marks if you are planning on attending. The workshop will be recorded and made available for our parents/guardians to watch after the event. The workshop is open to Middle and High School parents/guardians and will cover topics such as: • Effective ways to communicate with your child about drugs and drug use. • Up-to-date facts about current drug use and trends. • What to say about your own experiences with alcohol and/or drug experimentation. • How to spot early warning signs of trouble and effective ways to respond. Francis Parker Theater Arts Presents “Suite Surrender”

Francis Parker School of Louisville - Goshen Campus 11000 U.S. Highway 42, Goshen, KY, United States

Francis Parker Theater Arts is proud to present the High School spring play, Suite Surrender, by Michael McKeever. It's 1942, and two of Hollywood's biggest divas have descended upon the luxurious Palm Beach Royale Hotel — assistants, luggage, and legendary feud with one another in tow. Everything seems to be in order for their wartime performance...that is, until they are somehow assigned to the same suite. Mistaken identities, overblown egos, double entendres, and a lap dog named Mr. Boodles round out this hilarious riot of a love note to the classic farces of the 30s and 40s. Performances are Thursday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Goshen Campus Theater (11000 U.S. Highway 42, Goshen, KY 40026) and are produced and directed by Francis Parker Theater Arts Director Reed Gabhart. All Francis Parker students (Preschool – 12th grade) and faculty/staff receive a complimentary show ticket. General Admission tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for non-Francis Parker students.
