The mission of the Family Association at Francis Parker School of Louisville is to build community among parents and families, to foster opportunities for parent engagement, and to support the School and its faculty, staff, and students while upholding the School’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
Family Association
The Family Association (FA) is comprised of all members of the parent body, and its purpose is to help maintain a strong, cooperative, and friendly relationship between parents and the School and to support the School’s Mission. Each family is asked to pay $50 in dues to the FA to support the School. This alleviates the need for any sales-based fundraisers such as candy or wrapping paper.
The Family Association also hosts many of the community-building events that we have over the school year, including:

- Grandparents’ Day (D)
- Holiday Wish Fund*
- Parent – Child Dance (G)
- Ice Cream Social (G)
- Faculty/Staff Appreciation lunches/brunches
- Classroom holiday parties (G)
- Skating Parties (G)
*The Holiday Wish Fund was created by the FA to simplify the holiday gift giving process and make sure all teachers and staff members are thanked for their hard work. You may donate any amount of money you’d like and the FA then purchases gift cards for each faculty/staff member.

Family Association Leadership
The leadership team for the Family Association is composed of a Chair for each division, Grade Level Representatives, and School leadership.

Grade level representatives (GLR) will communicate with their classes throughout the year. If you are unsure of who your GLR is, please contact your lead teacher directly.
Become a Grade Level Representative
A minimum of two adults are asked to serve as Grade Level Representatives (GLRs) for each grade. The GLR is responsible for coordinating with lead teachers for classroom events, sharing information about upcoming school events with families, and coordinating class gatherings throughout the year.

Lunchroom Volunteer Sign Up
Volunteers are needed each day on our Goshen Campus to assist in serving lunch to our young Wyverns. This opportunity is available to parents, guardians, grandparents, and family friends, and serves as a great way to spend some time with your Wyvern(s) while also giving back.
