Congratulations to our 2025 Merit Scholarship Competition finalists! The academic accomplishments, extracurricular involvement, demonstrated leadership, and teacher recommendations we reviewed for each participant were quite impressive, and there were many deserving candidates. Thank you to everyone who participated!
In the rising 6th grade competition, students participated from schools all over Louisville, resulting in four finalists, all four of whom were from Francis Parker. Emmett Pell, Jones Middleton, and Olivia Griffith were named finalists.

In the rising 9th grade competition, students participated from schools all over Louisville, There were five Finalists, three of whom were from Francis Parker, and the following Scholarships were awarded:
Two students earned an Honorable Mention Scholarship: Arden Lin (Francis Parker) and Ophelia Knopf (Montessori School of Louisville)
Our 2025 High School Merit Scholars are:

- Cipinko Humanities Merit Scholar – Violet Scalf (Waldorf)
